8-26-2007 Jake Waterman finishes strong second in Season Championship at QCR

8-26-2007 Quad City Raceway Season Championship Brandon Durbin and Craig Crawford would start on the front row on the B-modified season championship. Durbin would grab the early lead, as Jake would have to work his way from further back in the field. The Snake would eventually move in to second by passing Crawford, but the feature would be cut short due to restarts, and Durbin would take home the win. Crawford would finish third, Jimmy Comins fourth and Chad Thomlinson fifth.
8-10-2007 Davenport Speedway The B-modified feature was a rock-em sock-em affair Friday at Davenport. Jake would charge up to 4th, from his twelth place starting position. Tragedy would strike in turn three in the form of another car hammering the #10 in the left rear. That would end the night for Jake, as he went back to the pits on the hook of a wrecker.
8-4-07 Jackson County Speedway Jake the Snake, Dan Klatt and Korey Meyer battled early on at JCS in B-modified action. These three cars ran three wide most of the race. Klatt would go on for the win, with Meyer second and Waterman third.
7-22-07 Aledo Raceway Park Jake would double up tonight as he won his heat and the feature. Jake would start 8th tonight. At the drop of the green, he would start his march to the front. At the checkers, Chris Stein would come home second, with Kevin Dickey third.
7-21-07 JCS The 20 car b-modified feature had only one caution, and that was Early in the race. Jay Garvey would use his pole starting position to grab the early lead. He would hold on untile the white flag lap, when 11th place starter Jake Waterman would move on by to pick up his 10th feature win of the season. Garvey would finish second, with Mike Fuller third Dan Klatt fourth and Rick Galloway rounding out the top 5.
7-20-07 Davenport Speedway Jake just never seemed to get the push out of the #10 car as Dan Klatt would win his second feature in a row, and Jake would roll home a respectable fifth.
7-17-07 QCR B-Modified Challenge Kevin Dickey took the lead, while Jake started to make his way to the front of the pack. Soon the Snake caught Dickey and made it a 3 wide battle for the lead with Dickey and Greg Durbin. Durbin took the lead and the win. Jake would get shuffled back to a 4th place finish.

Friday The 13th Davenport-
In the b-modified action, Dan Klatt would take the lead on lap one from his pole position and lead the entire way for his first win of the season. Jake would start 12th tonight, and in typical snake fasion he would charge through the pack to a 2nd place finish. After the races, The Watermans held one of many Waterman tailgate parties. The celebration would last into the wee hours of the night, with fun had by all.
7-8-07 QCR Bud Bash
Jake Waterman would qualify second in heat race #3 in tonights field of 20 B-modifieds. In a curfew shortened feature, time would be on Jakes side, as he would win the Bud Bash B-modified main.
7-7-07 Barron Motors Night JCS On Barron Motors night, The fans were treated to some really great b-modified racing action. Jake would come out of the box strong bagging his heat race win. Tom Petska would start out the feature by leading the first five laps, but heat winner Jake Waterman would take over the lead by lap six. Jake would go on to take the win before a packed stands, with Dan Klatt second, and Pestka third. The perfect evening would end with a fabulous fireworks display.
7-6-07 Davenport Speedway Jake would struggle mightily in his heat race and wind up with a 5th place finish. That would have "The Snake" starting in the 13th position in tonights 21 car field of B-modifieds. Team STEALTH member Dan Klatt would lead early on, while Brad Pershy and Jake Waterman would start their march to the front of the field. When the checkers flew, Brad Pershy had picked up the win, with Jake Waterman right on his bumper in second, Klatt would come home third.
7-1-07 QCR  What a bad night for the Snake. Lets just say he was credited with a 15th place finish. I cant wait until next week.
6-30-07 JCS Jake Waterman would enjoy the bridesmaids role to Keith Feller in heat race #1 tonight. It would be more of the same in the B-modified feature tonight as Feller and Waterman would finish 1 and 2. Were still fine tuning the new STEALTH. Stay tuned.
6-29-07 Davenport Speedway  Jake would qualify in the rear of his heat race, and would start 12th in the feature. Jake would march the #10 Stealth modified to a respectable third place finish, behind Chris Stein and winner John Ahlers.

6-24-07  QCR Jake Waterman waited until mid-season championship to unveil his new STEALTH modified. And what an unveiling it was. Kevin Dickey took the early lead, while Jake was snaking his way through the field. Waterman was able to use the lapped traffic to his advantage, passing Dickey in traffic. Jake would go on and pick up the win, with Dickey second and John Ahlers third.

6-10-2007
Jackson County Speedway Jake would finish 4th in the make up feature, but tradgedy would strike in his regular night qualifying race. Jake would spin to avoid a car blocking the track. He would suffer strong damage in the wreck, finishing his night with a broken rear end.

6-8-2007 Davenport Speedway
Jake  "The Snake" Waterman would be searching for win #7 tonight at the Davenport Speedway quarter mile. Jaqke would start the night by winning heat race #1. He would start the feature in 12th place. At the drop of the green, Jake would start his weekly charge to the frontg, but tonight would be Craig Crawfords night, as Jake would finsh second in the feature.
5-25-2007 Davenport Speedway Jake would have to qualify throught the semi feature tonight. Jake would motor the #10 machine to the front, only to be involved in a spinning Nick Hixson wreck. Jake would go to the back again, and make it back up to fourth place, when on lap nine, Kevin Spriet would roll his #20 coming out of turn 4. The race would be called complete, as rains fell soon after. John Ahlers would win this evening.
5-20-2007 QCR Jake would break a steering box tonight in the b-modified feature, and be creditied with an 11th place finish.

5-19-2007 Jackson County Speedway The track was slick and the action was hot on this Saturday night at JCS. Jake would drive the wheels off of the #10 Harris modified, but tonight he would be the bridesmaid as he finished second in the b-mod main.
5-18-2007 Davenport Speedway By this time in 2006,Jake Waterman had yet to win a b-modified feature. However, what a difference a year makes. Jake picked up feature win #6 Friday at Davenport Speedway. Jake started deep in the field, but worked his magic to chalk up win #6 in 2007. Go Jake!!!

5-13-07 Quad City Raceway Jake Waterman would start on the pole in tonights feature event. Jake would grab the lead early on and never look back as he won his 5th feature in 2007. Kevin Dickey would finish 2nd with Brad Pershy third.
5-11-07 Davenport Speedway Todd Stockler started 10th and moved into the lead on lap 4. Jeremy Marquette would finish second with Jake just getting nipped at the line by Dustijn Begyn.

5-5-07 Jackson County Speedway Jake started 10th in the b-modified feature that saw 2 cautions fly before lap 10. Jake moved into the lead and never looked back as he picked up his 4 th win in 5 nights of racing.

4-29-07 Quad City Speedway
Sunday was a night for sweeps as Jake made it three wins in three nights. Jake would motor to the front of the 21 car b-modified feature and dominate the entire 15 lap event. Mike Fluegal would finish second, with Doug Curless third.
4-28-07 Jackson County Speedway Maq, Ia.
The Snake would start on the front row of tonights feature next to modified veteran Kelly Meyer of Big Rock Iowa. Tonight the student would school the teacher, as Jake would jump out to an early lead he would never reliquish, as he bagged another feature tonight at JCS.
4-27-07 Davenport Speedway:
It was Kohler Electric season points opener at Davenport Speedway and Jake would not dissapoint his legions of fans tonight. He would runn off and hide from the rest of the field in his heat race win. Coem feature time it was more of the same as Jake weaved his way through the field and charge to his first feature win of 2007. Jake thanked his mom,dad,crew members and all of his sponsors for the win.
4-20-07 Friday Davenport Speedway
:It was opening night at Davenport Speedway, as the IMCA Deery Bros Late Models stormed in to town. But we all know the real show was the B-Modifieds, and Jake Waterman was ready to please the crowd. In his usual fasion, Jake would start 16th in tonights feature. Looking in mid-season form, Jake started his march to the front of the field. In a curfew shortened feature, Jake would come home 4th, but he looked to have the fastest car on the track. Things look great for 2007. next up: Sunday at QCR. See you there!
